Kalymnos International Climbing Festival is an event taking place every year in Kalymnos, which is considered to be one of the top climbing destinations worldwide.

Until 2014, Northface was mainly responsible for organizing the event. However, since 2015, the festival has been organized by the Municipality of Kalymnos. Especially, in 2016, the Municipality and the event have been awarded by the International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation.

My role:

• Member of the festival organizing team
• Creation of digital branding material
• Creation of website for promoting the festival
• Participation at the registrations office and all the festival activities
• In 2016, I proposed cooperating with Vertical Life. As a result, a climbing marathon (competitive event) took place, using technology (mobile app for climbers, website for showing results) for the first time. Also, an new event called Zlagboard contest which proved popular among festival participants. In addition, Vertical Life promoted the event through various online channels.
