Municipalities are obliged to create a five year operation plan, including various info like a description of the existing situation (finance, organizational structure etc.) and their strategy (vision, goals, actions to achieve the goals, budget etc.)

The procedure for creating this plan can be divided in two phases:

• creating the five year strategic plan, describing the existing situation and formulating vision and strategic goals
• creating the five year operational plan, which includes actions (and their budgets) needed to achieve the goals

My role:

• project management
• gathering data from the Municipal services and administration
• authoring the five year strategic planning document
• authoring the five year operational planning document
• developing an application for managing the actions included in the operational planning document, using Microsoft Access and VBA
